Following the debut edition, Accounts Premier League (APL) Season 2 returned bigger, sharper, and more competitive. Organized by My Career Point Professional Academy for Class XI and XII Commerce students across Tamil Nadu, APL expanded on its core mission pioneered by CA Damodaram Pagadala: revolutionizing commerce education by transforming Accountancy into an electrifying, game-based learning sport.
Hosted at Krishnaswamy Women’s College, Anna Nagar, Chennai, Season 2 brought together hundreds of commerce students to test their conceptual clarity, analytical speed, and teamwork under real-time competitive pressure.
The Format: High Stakes, Sharp Minds, and Knockout Drama
Building on the game mechanics of Season 1, Season 2 introduced higher intensity and structured stage showdowns:
10 Unique Accounting Challenge Levels: Ranging from preliminary written logic rounds like the Classification Crossout to rapid-fire stage battles and large-format floor puzzles.
Top 8 Knockout Qualification: Teams battled through early rounds to secure a spot in the elite Top 8 knockout stage.
Timed Live Floor Games: Students raced against the clock—stepping onto custom game mats and solving accounting problems, ledger balances, and transactions in front of a live audience.
Focus on Clarity, Not Memorization: Challenging participants to look at accounting problems from 360-degree angles rather than relying on rote textbook routines.
