Accounts Premier League (APL) Season 1 marked the inaugural edition of the groundbreaking state-level inter-school game show, organized by My Career Point Professional Academy for Class XI and XII Commerce students across Tamil Nadu. Conceptualized and created by CA Damodaram Pagadala, APL was born from a revolutionary vision: to take Accountancy beyond static textbooks and theory, transforming it into an action-packed, game-based learning arena.
Hosted at Velammal Bodhi Campus, Ponneri, in collaboration with venue partner Ology Tech School and powered by the Chennai Commerce Teachers Club (CCTC), the maiden season set an unprecedented benchmark for commerce competitions by fusing foundational accounting principles with high-stakes speed, strategy, teamwork, and excitement.
The Debut: Redefining Accountancy Through 10 Challenge Levels
Unlike traditional academic contests and written tests, Season 1 challenged participants through 10 innovative levels of accounting games, interactive floor challenges, puzzles, and practical problem-solving rounds.
Every level was engineered to test conceptual clarity under pressure. Students didn't merely sit and write exams—they competed dynamically on the game floor, analyzed, brainstormed, and raced against the clock.

The inaugural finale saw fierce competition, with Velammal Bodhi Campus, Ponneri emerging as the champions to lift the Season 1 trophy, closely contested by top-performing schools including Alpha Wisdom Vidyashram, Trichy taking the runners-up spot.
